The animation, story, humor is all on point. I started this series the worst way possible, by watching the movie Fullmetal Alchemist Conqueror of Shamballa first. I enjoyed this movie so much it got me into the series. Ed and Al are brothers and by using alchemy to bring back their dead mother things change for the worst. Ed loses an arm and leg and Al loses his body completely. With quick thinking on Ed's part he was able to seal Al's sole to a suit of armor. Now they are on a mission to return to their normal bodies by way of the Philosophers Stone.

There is so much with this series that I can see why they recreated it for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. A more faithful representation of the manga. I've seen both these series and while the beginning is almost verbatim, these stories are vastly different.

Who else is a fan of this series?
